For quite a long time, people have to use PCI card for cnc router controller which is considered stable and fast.

But nowdays, people are used to working with smaller computer that can not work with PCI card or better laptop. Then the cnc router is coming with USB connector.

Now we are talking about the desktop cnc router RS-3636 from Redsail China. Its working with USB, so you only need one software to make a toolpath without needing another software for PCI card and also used for outputting the toolpath. You can only use a USB handle, then everything is solved.

You have to try and you will like it. Mini router just like a small gift which you can buy for your wife to make some smaller job.

You may ask this question before you make decision for buying a laser machine.

Actually Apart from the laser tube itself being replaced every 3000—5000 hours there is virtually no maintenance. There is No belts, no bearings, no circuit boards. Nothing has had to be repaired on it. In ten years I’ve had it, I’ve replaced the focal lens, not because I had to, but I thought it was time and one mirror, because I thought it looked a little cloudy. The maintenance on these things are incredible. It takes so little effort, as long as you keep them clean. If you’re running a lot stuff that causes smoke, you want to clean it up and keep the machine clean so it runs good. The more you run it, the better the machine performs. The less you run it, that’s where you run into problems. If you have your laser sit for long periods of time, you’ll start to notice more problems with your laser tube because your gas starts to separate.

Yesterday it worked perfectly, but today, laser machine only moves several steps, then it stops. Why?

If you check carefully of the machine, next to the control panel, there is a E-STOP—its emergency stop. Means, when you face problem, press this button, the machine will stop immediately to keep operator safe.

But after push this button, if you do not pull it out, laser engraver or laser cutter will keep under this condition. Then when you restart the machine, it will only move few steps then stops.

So, dont worry, pull the button out.

When looking for vinyl cutters there are several things you need to consider, first of which is the size of the jobs you that you generally carry out. If the majority of your jobs are not large or produced under a major time limit, then you may consider saving money by purchasing a smaller, compact cutter, just like Redsail desktop cutting plotter RS450C.

You need to know what type of software it has, what type of programs it words with and can they be expanded. If the cutter does not work with the programs you like to create with, then inquire about cutters, which do run on those programs, or review the program that the vinyl cutter runs on and see if it is a better program and more user-friendly.

There are several vinyl cutters, which work with a several different materials, however, if you specialize in a limited range of materials, then consider purchasing a cutter that works only with the materials in which you specialize. This will be a benefit for machines that work with only a few material types are less expensive.

Another consideration you must contemplate is who will be working with the machine. Many of the top quality machines are slightly more difficult to operate. A knowledgeable and skilled sign maker will probably not have any problems, however, for less skilled employees may find it difficult to operate. Training for such employees will have
to be addressed. There are top quality machines that have easy to read LCD displays along with a set of programmable settings for easy use; an instrument such as these may be the right machine for your business.

For cnc router, tools can be called the consumable products. First, everyday working will consume the blade–that is natual thing; second, when a starter work with the CNC router for working, it is easy to break the tools when practice.

We provide different tools with different function: some is professional for cutting, like 3D tools here photo:

Do you need a machine that cuts wood, plastic, or metal accurately and consistently? A CNC router table is ideal for making signs and other general routing jobs. These machines can also be used for engraving so there are multiple uses. It used to be that these machines were too cost prohibitive for home use and small shops but due to an increase in interest, there are more affordable models. If you check Redsail website, you will see different models according to different working sizes.

Here are some tips to choosing a CNC router that fits your needs and budget.

What projects are CNC routers ideal? They are for projects that would take too much time and craftsmanship to cost effectively accomplish. This includes elaborate designs and making inlays for metal. With CNC lettering, the designs will be smooth and accurate.

Software will allow you to program lettering and designs. Once you learn how to use the software these machines are easy to operate. A CNC router is perfect for details in furniture making and the results will be professional. They are also ideal for sign making so lettering is even, accurate and consistent.

Smaller machines are great for home use and run off a 120 volt standard outlet. The motors on these CNC routers are usually just 1 or 2 horsepower and are best suited for home workshops. These table top models are a fraction of the lower cost and can be a good return on investment if you sell furniture. That is why we make a mini router RS-3636.

If a new CNC router is out of your price range then consider purchasing a used CNC which can save you 50 percent or more. Make sure you do research before looking for a used machine. Don’t purchase one just because it’s a good deal; it will be wasted money if it won’t do what you need it to do. Older machines are lower in power than new ones but that shouldn’t be important for small workshops.

If you prefer more consumer confidence then consider buying a reconditioned machine from the manufacturer. Reconditioned machines are professionally inspected, worn parts are replaced and they are usually repainted to look new. Most come with a warranty so you can have some guarantee in case it needs repairs. Redsail cnc router warranty is 12 months which you will not worry about it.

Make sure you check on support for your equipment especially if you are unfamiliar with the machine. Many manufacturers help you with installation and even provide software training at little or no cost. Then you’ll need ongoing support so you can maintain your equipment and resolve any problems that come up. Also ensure that you get a manual for your equipment so you’ll have a reference at your fingertips.

What you need, Redsail may be help.

Laser engraving equipment has been around for a few years, but from about the year 2000, has become affordable for small sized businesses. With plenty of business owners spending money on the equipment, there has been an explosion in ideas of how to use laser engraving and it really is a fascinating field.

There are many advantages to laser engraving compared to other engraving methods:

• Fewer consumables used and less wear and tear as no part of the machinery touches the thing being engraved

• Highly accurate as it’s computer controlled. Laser engraving can engrave images at over 1000 dots per inch, so is highly suitable for reproducing graphics.

• Material being engraved does not need to be held down

• Easy to use. Some laser engraver machines are as easy to use as a normal computer printer

• Many materials may be engraved with one pice of equipment. E.g. wood, plastics, glass, metals, ceramics, cloth, leather, marble, melamine, paper, rubber, fiberglass.
